So excited to have my daughter here, and her cat. Meet Finn.
So, I had to felt him a cat cave.
Big hit with the humans also, actually so distracted by this cuteness, I have to get back to works!

Natures artistry, amazing. Ice wool or hair ice is cause by a fungus in decaying deciduous trees at my latitude around the globe. Melts quick when daylight comes. We had a cold crisp night a bit ago and I snapped these pics.

My green hellebore are so lovely flowering now,
And so vibrant when the sun shines on them...rare this time of year in the PNW.

Iris color pallet heading towards blue....

Blending some new colors in the dye bath specifically for irises ..
They are a forgiving flower when it comes to color. I'm going for purples and blues at the moment

I felt 6" x 6" test squares to practice new designs and flowers. Someone asked me if I would make some roses,
I don't know why I never have...classic!

My oriental lilies were gorgeous this past summer, all growing in pots so the moles don't eat the bulbs.

I have been working out the details in my felted wall lilies,
color in the maturing buds and a vibrant pink in the blooms.

Really enjoy making these large pieces......

They don't sell fast,
Especially this year. So, I get to admire it for awhile. Just about when I start really having thoughts of adding it to my collection it finds a new home.

And...I finally started

So glad I got a photo of this piece,
I really liked it, thought about keeping it for myself.
Sold, and she was so excited!

In honoring the bees,
felted mandala. 18"diameter.
As a beekeeper of a few hives, I spend a lot of time sitting and watching the bees. I've learned so much from them!
